Ascendancy Music FAQ's

Do you ship worldwide, and if so, can you mark the value lower for customs?
Yes, I do ship worldwide, and all merchandise is marked $200 USD "used" for customs. A commercial invoice is provided for all international sales.

I could not find a shipping cost to my country on your auction or website. How do I find out how much it will cost to ship to me?
Every country has different shipping options and costs for guitars and amplifiers, so the easiest way to get the cost for shipping to your country will be to send me an email through the Contact page or send me a message through the eBay message system.

I am concerned about my guitar or amp arriving safely and intact. Have you ever had a problem with shipping worldwide?
No. To this day, after shipping nearly 1000 guitars and amps worldwide, I have had no problems with any lost or damaged items. All guitars and amps are professionally packaged and insured through my own private insurance company. If any guitar or amplifier is ever lost or damaged, it will be taken care of through an insurance claim. All international sales will also be provided with an insurance receipt and tracking number.

Why is shipping a guitar to Australia or Brazil so expensive? Other sellers on eBay have told me that it will cost only $125 USD.
Shipping a guitar and hardshell case with proper packaging to Australia will cost upwards of $200-$300 USD, and Brazil will cost $400-$500 USD. Other sellers will quote you less because they either:
A.)Have never actually shipped to Australia or Brazil.
B.)They are paying for the rest of the shipping out of their own pocket.
C.)They have a bulk shipping discount.
If you go onto www.usps.com, and look up the shipping cost for a guitar that weighs 25-30 pounds packed in a box that is 43 inches in length, by 6 inches in height, by 17 inches in width coming from US zip code 01501, you will see that it is impossible to ship for less. UPS and Fedex charge even more. If anyone can provide evidence of a cheaper shipping method, I would love to see it!

Do you accept bank wire transfer as a method of payment?
Unfortunately, I do not accept wire transfer. Methods of payment that I do accept for worldwide transactions are Paypal and Western Union. For transactions in the USA, I accept Paypal, Western Union, money order or personal check.

I have received my guitar but I cannot open the case! Do you have the key?
