About Ascendancy Music
Ascendancy Music was founded by Terence & Alison Herrera in Worcester, Massachusetts in November of 2005.
After many trips to local and large chain music stores, time after time I left feeling that the guitars and amps were being misrepresented by unknowledgeable staff, and the prices were way too high for
used merchandise that was sitting around collecting dust.
I was a former musician in a worldwide touring metal band from 1999-2005. In April of 2005 I disbanded the group due to a European tour getting cancelled. I began selling mostly Jackson USA guitars and Mesa
Boogie amps on eBay on a part time basis. Business was well and I soon started to carry finer guitars such as Paul Reed Smith, Parker and Gibson, along with boutique amps including Bogner and Soldano. Today,
even in this awful economy, and after many ups and downs, Ascendancy Music is still going strong; just take a look at that excellent
feedback from customers all over the world!
My wife Alison created the auction layout and website design that you are looking at right now, and her consulting skills have helped me with the business throughout the years. I clean and polish
all the guitars and amps, as well as inspect them rigorously to make sure that all equipment is working up to par and is ready for sale. I also make sure that all merchandise is properly described and
photographed. Ascendancy Music is strictly a one man show, so there will not be any miscommunications or mistakes, and you will get a fast reply to any questions asked. If anyone wants to get in touch, you
